        Hi
If you look at Abands topic prec. Machine work you can ser how we done for connect the underside of Rover 100. It better to use the Skoda pickup joint . Cheaper and more bent.

                That looks good.
You could bolt the mini steering arm to the MGF hub?

                  Hmmmm

                  Mini steering arm fits ok...

but looks really thin & spindly compared to the MGF steering arm

but it will give you reduced turning circle and sharper steering. if you can, try both bear in mind they will both have an affect on bump steer too.

I've already tried the metro steering arms, not my cup of tea really I imagine the MGF's will be similar.

Fit the mini arms and it will have the same turning circle as a mini.

I have MGF hubs, mini steering rack and mini steering arms and all is good

The Cooper S steering arms are a bit beefier than the standard mini (not as much as that MGF though)
I fitted S arms to mine after I proved that the standard arms were flexing a bit - 3' length of pipe and a clock gauge

any mods to fit the mini arms? i must admit im happy to sacrifice the turning circle for the added high speed stability the metro arms offer, but will give them a try if its a bolt on - bolt off job!

Its been a while since i fitted them but i think they are a direct swap.
But for some reason i don't know why i seem to remember putting the right hand one on left of the car and vice verser! Im not sure now why or i might be wrong. But im sure the mini arms bolt straight on mate.
