G13b allspeed frame speedo drive

Hi all after some advice. I have a G13b conversion on going with an allspeed frame. and was planning on using the OEM clocks etc but the cable drive sits directly under the rear bar of the all speed frame? is this normal? how do people overcome this? mod the frame?
