  • Engine Bay Photos

Can people put photos of there engine bays up here so I can see what kit you are using and where stuff is mounted?

It would be nice if you could say which engine and which subframe, Allspeed, Metro, custom etc.

I'd happily have another exhaust made by Simpson anyday, didn't actually cost a lot more than the regular custom exhaust manufacturers, but the quality is far superior.

really need to pull my finger out. miss the old girl lol.

custom frame, mini upper arms, k-metro hubs, custom lower arms custom trumpets, still on rubber donuts, and a pg1 box.

and below, modded mini frame, a-series metro hubs, r65 box but otherwise much the same.

most people squeese the engine further rearward than me o rangle it more upright, but i took advantage of the clubby front

Quite an early shot of my sub frame, MGF modified front cross member, engine and gear box mounting arms shortened by 30 mm, Frame Mounting points modified to keep the existing hydro elastic suspension.

                          Engine 1.6 with R65 gearbox

                          Without front

                          With front fitted

Engine mount and one of the steady bars

                          Gearbox mount
