  • 16v mini shop fg front

    evening,

are the front valance areas on the 16v mini shops fg fronts a different shape to a standard fg front to give clearance on the allspeed subby front bar?

if so is it possible to still get them?

    cheers

the std length front ends where just std length front ends from absmotorsport.net

the 16v mini shop 90mm , was as it says 90mm longer ... and you can still buy those from ABS ( forum disscounts apply_)

Matt - the 90mm extended fronts sold by ABS as 16v mini shop ones, are they a good bit of kit ? do they fit well and don't crack when in use etc etc ?
      I love my mini

They are as good as any that i have used.
I think cracking is very dependent on how they how mounted , how much vibration your car has , and what things you have hanging off the front of it

i have fitted a few now .. got one on my current car ...

i have one of the 90mm extended front ends from 16vminishop/abs motorsport and the quality is very good, the fit is also better than most and better than a lot of the normal length fronts from other manufacturers i've tried. we just fitted a standard lenght one from another supplier to my mates car and the fit was appauling compared to mine - it took a lot of work to get it fitting nicely.
