  • Door Hinge Thread Size?

Does anyone know what thread size the door hinges are? 4 of the studs snapped off when removing them so need to repair them.

    Cheers,

    Mike

I could be wrong but I think they are 1/4 UNF

I still think that thread might be 1/4" UNF. Mine all sheared on my old doors so I drilled them out and replaced them with M6 (which was an extremely close metric equivalent - again pointing to the originals being 1/4")
        "Simplify, then add lightness"
It's street legal if it can outrun the cops...

Excellent, that makes life easy. I was considering metric also. I was going to just replace all the hinges until I saw the price of them :/
