Moderator Help

I can't seem to find a section to report forum bugs/faults.
I don't know how to go about getting in contact with a moderator either.

My problem:
The search function does not go further back that 2009.

i might be wrong ian, but i think that there was a major site "episode" last year - this could be the reason your search is a bit ropey.

but then again, i could be talking nonsense again!

Not sure why you cannot search further back than 2009, I have just searched on my username and got results back to 2006.

Good question about finding a moderator/admin person if you need one, for post/thread problems there is a button below your user details to report a problem, for general stuff I'm not really sure, with the previous forum software the current logged on users at the bottom of the main forum page had moderators and admin people in a different colour so you could see who you needed to contact.

I shall point this thread out to Matt and the other moderators to see if anyone has an answer.

It works ok when I click on "view user's posts" but when in the search window searching on a word(s), phrase and/or user it does not go back further than 2009.

i just searched on the word "brakes" and the furthest back it went was 17/12/08.

I assume this is a UK based website?

If you search a very common word then you'll only see the most recent 500 posts as that's the limit of the software.

Refine your search and you will see that older posts will show up.
