    Just wondered about the carbs as the general idea is the manifold keeps the carbs at their normal spacing rather than having to split them and mess about with the linkages.

    yes maybe wrong carbs as u say, lol how do i tell ? lol yes thats a funny qweastion,
    marked CVK, and KEI,,HIN DATE is 1996 and they are 38 mm,

    Could also be that! I’m assuming that the manifold is one of those kit ones that you weld together at home and the runners have been put on wrong but it could easily be the wrong carbs for that manifold.

    Ive got redtop tiger power.

    Having said that, if you back and look at the one in the ebay link, it has the 2 straight runners in the centre and the 2 kinked runners on the outside.
    Would that work if you cut them all off and repositioned all of them?

    i keep looking lol, i cant qwite work that sugestion out as the midle gap space is 1 1/2 " and the gap between the carbs at outermost is 1 1/4 ,
    thinking on that is worth a go only coz i have acsess to tig ect, even that the outsiders arnt correct unles that rubber pipe a bit longer will take that up
    im not after more bhp/flow so yes fine,

    thanks danno, thers sumit wrong with this manny, thought about what will cure it going to go for a link for the throtel butterfly activator i think,
    to far out for a close fit and just mabe longer silicone pipes will allow it but not near car to get bulkhead clearance,

    i dont know danno,they look senceible in there proportion and that, until the carbs meet them, this is new ground for me,
