    • Quaife ATB = wheels will rotate in different directions, Tran X cross pins through centre of diff = can't see through, pull the cover

                    • Haha cute video pal. - We know you're a lovely bloke! (You lied, the video did involve a dog!)
Well, from my experience with offroading, an LSD doesn't work like you'd think. - If you've got the 2 driven wheels on the ground and one loses traction, you get slip. In a conventional open diff, that wheel with the least traction would get all the torque, where-as an LSD equipped drivetrain would send power to the opposite wheel. This is all true. Thing is, if 1 of those wheels is totally off the ground and there is zero resistance, then that wheel off the ground will continue to spin, even with an LSD.
On the other hand, perhaps it's a different type of diff to ones I've had experience with offroading.

So something strange is happening. - could be a good sign. I've had my C20XE/F20 (open diff) without a shaft on the ground and the open diff just spins the loose output end of the diff. - No compression resistance keeping the car stationary.

                      • Love the video Shaun. Happy New Year everyone. You've seen my manifold Shaun on Facebook. Nothing from SBD fits a mini without cutting it up. You've seen how complicated my exhaust got and how expensive it was.

I wish your dog is the one out of "The Mask". That way he could complete this XE conversion and communication could also be easier

                              • If the obstruction is the other shaft, (its definitely not a cross pin) then going off the rules for the Rover diffs, I'd say got yourself some form of LSD in there.
