  • Yeah it’s probably the best position, other than stock.

will slap some black paint on it, to prevent rusting

    • Made some small pieces on the 3d printer to hold down the power cable underneath the car. Used a cable that's a bit thicker than the original so it won't fit in the original bracket.

Made 8 in total, think that's plenty to hold it down.

      • They look good! How long does it take to make one?

        • Approx 40 minutes, for a top and bottom together. No idea how long they will last. Will print a couple extra, just for safety 😬

and this ishow it looks when bolted on.

          • Did a couple of small things over the weekend.. Had some other obligations, so not much time overal.

Cleaned the master brake cylinder and refitted new rubbers. Also made a couple of brake lines from the master brake cylinder to the proportion valve

            • Picked up a complete gear linkage from a MG ZR. The engine seized and he was selling the car in parts.

After some measuring and cutting we now have a shifter.

Ordered new bushes for the coupling. These arent that great

              • After a little bit of modification the radiator is in. Still have to make a top mount and finish of the welds on the bottom one. But it fits and clears the bonnet.

gazwad thanks for the dimensions of this type of radiator. Saved me a whole lotta headache.

                • That’s a good fit. Have you got a removable front end? I’m using the same rad in a fixed front clubman. There’s enough room once it’s in the but a real squeeze fitting and removing the rad with the engine & box in situ

                  • Fixed front end so like yours very tight fit. Just want to leave the radiator on the subframe. Also when the engine needs to come out, there is only one way possible…….

Also did a bit of work today, made the top bracket for the radiator.

Still have to do some bracing on the mount but its in and it fits. So its a start
