I have a Venezuelan built, fiberglass Mini Cord that I have owned now for 8 years. I have never driven it as I bought it as a project. Only 1300+ cars were made and only a handful of them have been imported into the U.S.
I have always wanted to do the vtec conversion on it but couldn't until recently. It came stock with a 998cc engine with A/C. All that was going to go back in until I found a hole in the top of the number one piston. It was the perfect opportunity to talk the wife into a conversion! I am now the proud owner of a '97 Acura Integra GSR which I am parting out and using the engine from and a Minitec MTB2 subframe.
