Default 1993 spi cooper MGF

here we go new project .
so yes it a 1993 spi cooper with the usual rust.
going to put new wings and a-panels etc on it.
i hope to made it look like a nice sports pack cooper.
i have a nice MGF new MOT on it lol !!! so all good
going to use front and rear sub-frames ,full loom, power steering.

Is that the 1.8 injection engine? if so it's the same conversion that im doing. I have my mgf partly stripped only the dash and loom to come out then the engine. Will be watching this one

Similar to my conversion too I guess. I spent a weekend striping the mgf and that got pretty much it all done so doesn't take too long and is quite simple. Do you know how your going to mount the front subframe? Use the mg ones or going to modify the frame like wastons? kit does?

am sill running my mgf at the mo. not 100% on the front subframe i wont to keep mini wheels on it but i wont mgf brakes. so re drill the hubs. going to cut down the front and rear subframes and yous a mini rack.
that the plan i hop.

i am not going with mini wheels now i am going to use the mgf one. i found some tyres to fit.

You could try using Metro 13" wheels as the PCD is the same. That's what I've done. They just fit over the MG F discs. If you use 175x50x13 tyres there is no need to modify the arches.

CHOP up the rear sup today 1"3/4 out got the front wheels on the rear 185 55 15 now 60" wide. the wheels stick out only 4" that ok for me
