Everybody knows a Lotus engine cover is worth 10bhp and makes the engine reliable.
A Land Rover plug cover gains you an extra ton in weight and guarantees HGF.

It didn't sell. Got bids of 2700.

It's up again with a start price of 3500 and a buy it now of 5k.

Not sure what is wrong with this but it's for sale so much it just makes you wonder. It doesn't seem over priced providing it's as good as claimed.

This "Lotus" engine has even had all the badges removed...

This comment from the seller does make you think that the handling issues are still there. "Super fast and very scary."

I can quite honestly say that even at over 100mph mine feels safe. Others who have driven it will agree, and plenty of video's to show too.

When I questioned the Lotus on Facebook his response was "Different tunes and gear boxes is the main difference. If it was a lotus good chance it'd have a diff in the gearbox which would mean it's worth way more"
Chris asked what he had been smoking to get the reply" absolutely nothing. Look at the standard specs, mgf era vvc was down at 130/140 bhp if memory serves. The later version fitted to the z cars and lotuses was a higher output of 160. The lotus also came with a diff which the standard rover or mg cars didn't have, except the rover Brm but they're super rare now so non about to steal. Having owned the car for two years with continuous yet hilarious torque steer it's something I looked at extensively"

jokes aside lol,
when it came up in exsmouth for 3,k i had by chance woke up with 2.5k and i wanted it,
i didnt care that it was 1275 on logbook or the fact that a wheel bairing had been advised on last 2 m,o,ts, i would have paid him and torqe steard all over the road on way home.
wasent fussy at, obvioucely this car drives you, not the other way around and has underlieing issues but its still a mini so its worth something lol
