In passing a saw an article in a Mini magazine this month, can't remeber which one, but the guy had converted a classic mini and installed the workings from a forklift truck, didn't read the article but certainly worth a read I would guess.

If its a red one with a white roof and black bumpers then it was built in conjunction with BMW as a marketing tool for the new MINI-E that is imminent

The AC-50 is probably the motor I'd go for too if I was doing a Mini, I'd love to know how it performs

This is the one I saw an article on. Reckoned it was equivalent to 120bhp with about 100 mile range.

Found this: Mini pickup electric on a dutch miniclub website. Is actually a mini pickup from Norway with a Norwegian City Think drivetrain conversion.

Just tell the kids to walk or take an (e-)bike
