Had it been left under the Tyne Bridge? My sister in laws Cavalier looked like that when someone dropped a sandbag from it

Subframes looking good, think i'll start mine the same way, adding tube and cutting the original away after instead of making a frame to hold the mounting points. Good work.

Are you keeping it the same colour? one of my favorites

Looking good so far, but will add, you may need to cut and move the lower suspension pin front mountings back. If doing this you will need to cut the "wavy" bit out of the bottom pin and weld it back together.

This is the only pic I can find, haven't got any of the frame mod, but you should be able to work out what I mean.

EDIT: here's a pic of the actual pin (one of) after it had been modified...

youll have no ground clerance with that frame, itll probably bottom out if you get down to the bump stops! get measuring against a normal mini

You might get away with it but you wont be able to lower the car. Plus a vauxhall is very heavy so you will need some very hard suspesion to keep it of the ground.

Yup they're the boys. You'll see what I mean as the bit you need to move back sits right where the driveshaft wants to come out (on both sides).
