Default Something for your diaries.

As an ex sprinter myself I have been keeping an eye on the sprint side of things and trying to resist the temptation to go down that route on my current project. But I thought I would do a bit of promo work for my local motorclub North Devon M C. On the 19th of September we will be holding our annual sprint at RMB Chivenor the course is approx 2 miles long and has an interesting feature of a timed (with speedtrap) 1/4 mile run at start. If anyones interested let me know as entries for this event fill up fast.

I may be up for this, sounds fun. Is it run as a proper sprint event or more of a track day event?

Hello mini1,

It is a proper sprint so non race nat b licence needed and car will have to pass msa scrutineering. I just remembered there is a video on you tube hopefully this link will work.

Looks fun but a bit far from home for a sprint.
I come down to Wiscombe once a year 800 miles round trip

Looks a fantastic track layout, but I doubt if I can get a license and everything sorted this year. Shame really! Have fun.

For a Non-Race National B licence its simply filling out an application form and sending it back with a photo and fee - no test or anything needed - that reminds me must actually get round to renewing mine

I got lost at Barkston Heath.....looking at the number of cones on the track and not wishing to upset any marshalls I think I'd better give this one a miss... (never was any good at autotests)
