I have these disks (new) which i thought were going to be off a GTI (metro) - but they dont fit on my metro hubs? What has happend? Are these from the wrong year of GTI. What disks do I need if these arnt the ones. I mean the pcd on these disks are way off. The picture below shows my hub and the GTI (supposidly) disk. Any ideas?

The flange look right but the disc look like they are from an earlier metro or mini.
It has the same type of bolt them on from behing look that minis have.
You need vented or solid discs from a rover metro or rover 100. Vented or solid depends on what calipers you have.

Paul,
If you got them off Geoff, why not ask him? He's never short on advice, especially when there's a sale to be made.
(Joke Geoff - Honnest! :? :D )
I would hazzard a guess that they are standard K series Metro, I dont think Geoff makes a special effort to get GTA brakes from the brakers, he gets any K series frame he can find, after all, when was the last time you saw a GTA in a scrap yard?

This is my vented single pot MGF/Montego Turbo set up from Geoff @ £250 complete and installed. & as long as I dont thrash it too much, it does a fine job of stoping the car from warp speed. (Just)

Does this help?

This is the off side, Brakes are fine, but will fade if you hammer them, Im looking at Willwood brakes and calipers to improve on this set up, Non of these brake conversions will 'Feel' like a modern car, even with a servo, the car still has a hard pedal, and needs a good shove to stop it.
You may not have this problem if your using a 1600
