yeah thats gordy's mini, he's a club member, the car is also in the for sale section of this site.
youre not completely wrong, i have been in touch with gordon and it looks like now his old motor is finished, he wants to start another project, namely a vtec job.
I think this car looks excellent, and at first i was interested in buying it, and i think the only reason its not parked on my drive right now, is the fact that i am in lancashire and he is in gloucester.
anyone have a vehicle transporter.

Hi ppl,

Gordy is not far from me and his car is good.
I haven't been in it but I followed him to Castle Coombes(correct spelling??) in my CRX Vt.
There were 2 good looking police ladies standing when fly passed them...
It goes well but he told me, it is a scary monster when he drives in wet.

He is elling his car and I'm selling my CRX Vt so I can get used to Suzuki Swift Gti...
Well I already got mk1 Gti lined up.
Anyway, he is starting new project and I'm not sure which project it is.
I might have to go and talk to hi or his missus.

Cheers
Atchi

Easy, you get him to drive it to your house, and you drop him off at the bus stop and give him his fair to get home

yep, thats fair enough, except i told him i was no longer interested, i'd have to do a bit of explaining.
i just sold my manky triumph trophy, so have a bit of extra cash to burn before the mrs finds out.

I'd rather sell the car to someone in the club, rather than someone who's not into mini's and just wants something to rip round town! But for me to take it off e-bay it would have to be a guarenteed sale, I am unsure about the current bidder as he has promised contact but hasn't yet.

no problem gordy, i am in the club, i own a 16v vtec mini, i have owned 5 mini's, and have restored a couple, if i buy this motor be assured its going to a good home, the only thing is i'm diabetic and my eyesight is knackered so my license may be removed shortly (under review), hence this motor should i buy, will be driven by the mrs.
p.s. would you drive it back to preston should we do a deal?.

thanks to the other chap, yes barlow will rent me a trailer for 35 quid, and thats cheap for a brand new one, anyway keep in touch its great to hear from someone local into 16v minis, i thought everyone round here was in the volvo owners club!.

gordy, just in case you dont know yet, the bloke who e-mailed you recently about youre mini, either john carter, or dr pepper is in fact me, because i just sold my motorcyle, and my mrs wants a runabout, i might be able to pursuade her into this motor of yours (actually i want to play with it), the only thing is the distance, like i said i'm interested, and have the cash.
