had it put on the scales, was thinking it was about 750 kg mark but came in at 820 kg    going on a diet winter time :D :D
820kg  .
Strange how our cars where evenly matched then i started to pull on you. Would of thought it to be other way with yours more powerful and mine lighter.
If you can the weight right down it will be such a quick little car. Are you going to the mini showdown?

Was this car at Canon Hill Park on Sunday? If so, I was admiring it and struggling to read what engine it had through your air intake/bonnet scoop, I just made out FIAT and Turbo. Very nice car, really nice interior.
Love it :P

Hello,
Do you think that this engine will fit in a round nosed Mini?
Keep us informed it looks a great project, have you any pictures of just the the subframe with the engine installed.

its been a while so been busy the wkend
rad all fitted and plumed in just about clears the starter motor
the rad from the boot has been removed and the hole has been welded up,
as the rad is up front there is no room for the ic so had to put a front mount on as i didnt want to fit one :(
also fitted a clubman bumper to hide the rad (sticks out at the bottom to clear the starter )than box /mould the front out
here pics not the best

have had 3 degress camber,,1degree toe in ,,but goin to try 1 degree then chage ball joist to mgf see if that helps

Three degrees camber is really a lot, Miglia racers have I think up to 2.5 degrees. My car has 2 degrees camber and the toe in/out is 0 and that works well.
