Elvington 06/06/09 - Have I got time to enter?

Got the car MOTed today so the question is as above, have I got time to get an entry in?
One thing that is bothering me is I haven't got a MSA log book for the car yet. However the blue book seems to read that if the car is road registered and is entered in a road worthy condition I don't need one. Is this correct?

Hey Richard,

Get in touch with Jim Kilmartin ASAP & get log booked. He's in York & it's all quite painless ..... only takes about an hour, but he's such a pleasant fella you'll be there quite a bit longer.

Maybe you could run without a log book if you had a-series engine & ran in road class, but as you have an engine swap you'll end up in Libra class with the rest of us no-hopers and we deffo need comp car log book.

I'd reckon you'll get into the event no problem otherwise cos it's not heavily subscribed.

Oh and by the way CONGRATULATIONS ON GETTING THE MOT!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Andy, I've spoken to Jim and going to see him on Weds eve. Will he give the car a sort of pre scrutiner check over?
Roll cage padding, will pipe insolation be OK? I was going to buy some from Motoscope Northalington the other day but thay reconed insolation was fine!

I spoke to Peter Hilaby this morning and managed to get a late entry, as long as it reaches him before Weds.
Are you guys going over on Fri pm or getting there for 07.30 Sat morning?
Another question, I didn't get any paperwork (certification) for my CDS 6 point Fabricage cage, will I be asked for it at scutinering?

The roll cage doesn't need any paperwork for scrutineering, mine is a safety device one but you can't tell as its been powder coated and there is no sticker on it.

We are going up on Saturday morning and meeting there.
