right a small update!
Started from scratch again fabricating up a new subframe, got all my suspension mounts and engine mounts fabricated and welded up and dropped the engine in for a trial fit with the new minus front end to check all my clearances.

A little more progress made on me little plastic fantastic mini, finally finished fabricating the rollcage to fit the minus and got it in primer, taken the rear arms of the main hoop through the rear bulkhead so they could be directly mounted onto the rear coilovers, hopefully it will help dissipate some of the forces.

Got my snap off wheel sorted and welded boss adapter onto cloumn
http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj311/skyecfisher/P1012764.jpg
Also rebuilt my hubs with new bearings, ball joints and steering arms, bought some new flanges for the 4 pot (minispares ones) they have the same diameter as mini ones where as the metro ones were larger and you could see the lip of them on the centre of the alloy

Also decide to whack the engine i bought off Tinxy in(with the reversed inlet) Wiring loom to make next, got one of those kit car wiring modules so should be relatively simple to wire.... i hope!

Looking good! To help transfer the load from the rear coil-overs, you might consider triangulating the end plates like this:
104

hi skye what discs are they on ur set up

skye

cheers for the advice jayare, was going to add some triangulation exactly like that on those rear mounts was just toying with putting a brace between with the triangulation built in, think it may be a little over kill?!
The discs are Rotordiscs.

Hi terry, felt a bit lighter, probably not alot of difference in the overall weight of the frames tho.
