http://www.turbonator.com/index.html

i'm not sure what to make of this... from what i can make out, the website suggests that this device creates a turbine in the air inlet, thus increasing the speed of air intake. but basic aeronautics dictates that an increase in air speed results in a drop in air pressure. so surely a drop in intake pressure would cause a drop in power?

take a look for yourselfs

i cant belive the bids on that stupid dump valve thing
my mate said hed seen them rigged to a switch so when the hapless chavracer lifts their foot off the clutch it goes off
so it would do it at the lights or when you start the car or anywhere really
honestly, how stupid would you feel?

There's some sad, sad, sad people out there !!! I just looked at who's bid - Pug145 seems quite keen, but the funniest is someone called "cozzywozzy" bidding on a piece of kack to make "the sound of a cosworth turbo" !!!!!!!

"It won't kill anyone, but it will definitely blind them - they'll never see again!"

Well that would be perfectly legal in this country then

I feel sorry for the pedestrians on the other side!

I just had a look at the little baby turbo thing.......HA HA HA HA :D
It might work on a lawnmower I spose, at a push!
A real turbo spins at up to 120000 rpm
Top fuel dragsters need @900bhp to drive the supercharger alone!
That looks like it came from ToysRus!
Also on the subject, YOU ONLY NEED A DUMP VALVE IF YOU ARE RUNNING OVER 1BAR OF BOOST, and even then it should be a recurculating one not a pointless waste my hard earned boost type! but I guess it makes you look cool?

Didn't the old, and I mean mk1 or mk2 rally Escorts have some sorta similar device that was put on for some stupid reason or another to qualify for rallying? Didn't do any good, but it had to be put on it for some silly rule?

I'm sure I read something like that before.... I must be getting old, my memory is getting worse!

Oh well - would be interesting to see if it made an iota of a difference at all, be it detrimental or advantageous. My bets are on the earlier.... surely it fecks with the airflow?!?! I'm not totally up on my "forced" induction knowledge, if you can call this thing that!

As for the blowtorch of a car alarm - sheer quality!

All items have been carefully ordered for standard UK cars between 1.1cc to 2.2cc engines as well as v6,v8,v12

does this mean that someone with a V12 jag XJS is going to invest in a device to make stupid woosh noises!?

theres one born every minute, they guy who thought of silly blue lights on the bonnet is probably living it up now.
anyone heard of a turbo zet, its a chunk of plastic that goes on the inlet manifold with a pc fan inside it, a turbo for a 100 quid, llobox, they even show a graph before and after fitting the pc fan, and the only difference is at idle, and a decrease at high revs, and they still sell the thing.
i'm gonna rush out and buy one.
