Just after abit of info about the old rover engines. From the 216`s from around the 95 mark. Are these the same as vtecs. Will they fit the watsons frames The k series one and normal vtec one. What sort of bhp can you set out of them. cheers

maybe you should ask that on the honda section, however i have a vtec and the engine looks different to the honda non vtec crx (which is supossedly the same as the 200's), so i'd gather from this they may be different, but i'm not well up on the subject.
ask geoff at watsons rally, if anyone knows he does.

Depends, non K-Series models like the 216 GSi use the same engine as the second generation Honda CRX. It is non-VTEC tiwncam and should have around 120 to 125 bhp. Here in Germany they are a very good choice as old Rovers are not half as popular as Hondas, thus being available dirt cheap.
