Thought I would add a build diary for my brothers Autograsser (markmacracing) which we are currently building.
We are using a Rover 100 frame modified with Watsons brackets.
The engine is a 1.4 8v carb out of an early Metro.

We have now got the steering column fitted. It is mounted onto a bar from the rollcage. We have not cut the column, it has been left full length so there are no issues with welds breaking :| . The bucket seat will be mounted quite far back so this will not be an problem.

Gear linkage now mounted. Once again this has been left full length and mounted inside the car to make it a bit safer.

oops, been a while since an update.
Here is our clutch cable bracket, no bulkhead in this car so a standalone bracket had to be fabricated

So a better block was sourced and engine reassembled

We have sourced a better carb so it shouldn't be too long till we get it fired up. 8)

The car is starting now on the button and running sweet. I'll get a few more pictures of the now extended front end later and post them up.
