Why arent people out gettin drunk, not on here!!!???

Why are those of you that can legally drink not out getting drunk and clubbing??? I would be if i were old enough.......... :cry:

one day lad, you'll go out and get hammered. you'll stagger home, and fall asleep in a big heap on the floor. then you'll wake up in the morning feeling like ****. then you'll realise that, no matter how cool your mates tell you it is, alcohol is really nothing special.

find something else to waste your money on, because alcohol really isn;t worth it. nor is smoking, or drugs (i've not got experience of that one myself) or any other addictions you can think of. they're just not worth it.

I once knew a man who was buildin a mk2 escourt, he gave up drink, fags and anything that he didnt need. Built a shed with the bed and toilet upstairs and workshop downstairs. he lived on cornflakes, bread and water (well the basics anyway) jus spent as little on himself to spend the rest on the mk2!!!!

Comitment or what?????

I'm just too skint to go out on the lash until payday (only 4 days to go !!) - so I'm having to settle for drinking at home - the local offy does 6 cans of stella for a fiver !! :) Plues theres some spirits in the cupboard !!

seriously though, i don't mind the pint (or 6) but i just don't see the appeal of going clubbing, listening to dance music all night and drinking until you can't stand up any more. i just hate the feeling of loosing controll of my own body. that's why i only ever drink as much as i know i can handle.

I'm drinking extra to balance out the trying to quit smoking - 11 days and two cigarattes (been smoking 20 to 30 a day or more for over 17 years !!! Now that is one habit I would say NEVER start...

i've tried it. but i just didn't see the appeal. i didn't feel relaxed or anything like that. so i didn't bother after that.

Being married, having a two year old, and being repelled by most types of alcohol after a 'heavy night'!!! It's funny how if you get wasted (and I mean really really wasted) on a particular drink like whisky or vodka, you can never face that drink ever again. Yet beer is always drinkable no matter how much of a state you get in :lol:

Yeah, my Dad had a party (one of many) when I was about 11 and I sneaked loads of Gin - couldn't touch the stuff until abuot two years ago (I'm 31 !!!) :) !

ah vices, one of my favourite subjects....all of them are great in moderation but can take over too quick especialy cars and booze!
just read a few hotrod magazines or car mags in general to see the quote "she said its the car or me!, so she had to go!" and just think how sad that bloke whos allways wasted in your town centre all the time every days life must be. cor, sorry for getting so deep guys!

it's true though. i don't care how fantastic the car is, given the choice of the right woman or the right car, the car would be in auto trader the next morning. no questions asked.
