Have been hunting high and low for a VTEC mini for sale. The only one I can find at the moment is SAE's in Bournemouth and I just cannot russle up £10,000. Does anyone know of any for sale??
I know Watsons had a white round nose mini with 1.6 vtec for sale, not sure if its still there though.

i wouldnt bother with the sae mini ,it runs on su carbs and is down on a lot of power because of this .it also uses mini cv joints and brakes which in my opinion arent up to the job and finnaly £10000 is a lot of money you could build one yourself for half of that

Thanks for the reply, should have mentioned Watson's as well in my previous mail. Unfortunalty they have sold theirs, this would have been ideal!
P&L have one, (well two but one looks like a space ship) which I drove for 8 hrs (there and back) to look at it.
It was a Waton's x rally car. It looked it had just come out of one as well! . Shame the picture on their site doesn't reflect this. I did complain to Liz at P&L's but all she said was that it wasn't theirs! and they were selling it on behalf of Watson's:x

Why the hell would they being selling on behalf of Watson's. They [Watsons] sell enough cars themselves, and have a far better reputation than P&L.
I know, sounds strange but it was a complete shed. Maybe it just wasn't good enough for Watson's to sell so P&L brought it??

The P&L conversion is a copied version of Geoff's frame.
When my car was being converted, Geoff also had 2 other P&L cars in to be "Corrected" in his words.
If you can build a 16V mini for under 10K then your doing well.
Geoffs white car was up for 7K, and it was worth that in parts alone.
