Air flow meter

What are people doing about there air flow meter when you run a bigger throttle body. Im using a nissan sr20 60mm TB but the air flow meter only has a 45mm hole in it. Is this going to defeat the purpose of putting the bigger TB on?

Bore it to 49mm. 49mm will flow enough air for you to make decent, realistic horsepower. If you are chasing big hp, then dumping the MAF and running a MAP sensor will be the go.
