hi!does anybody know how much does 0-60 is for a stock swift gti powered mini on average?top speed with normal gears?

Well theres not exactly a stock Suzuki mini as different wheel sizes, gear ratios, levels of tune etc. mean i doubt theres one that will have the same performance.
Mines a stock engine with a sports exhaust and piper cross filter fueling via megasquirt, so I'd say mine is one of the more standard cars. I'm running a very tall final drive ratio though and 10" wheels which is resulting in a 0-60 of about 6 seconds. It helps that 60mph is in second so only one change needed.
Ok so maybe its not as quick as the Vtec / Vauxhall boys but it feels seriously rapid and puts the biggest smile on my face!

When mine was running well (last week) 0-60 two up from a slow rolling start - close to 6 seconds. Standard engine & gearbox 13" wheels.

Could you pls tell me what's the final ratio and where did get the parts? also, any idea what's the top speed with that combination? :wink:

Its a 3.528 final drive ratio in a mk1 gearbox. first gear is spot on length wise as well as second and third. 4th and 5th where a tad on the tall side for the standard bhp setup but now i'm running a turbo they are perfect as it pulls hard even in 5th.
I got the parts off a rally nut on Team Swift.

As for top speed i have no idea.. i think the gearing would allow 150mph or something stupid like that so there's no chance of actually pulling that. Mine pulls hard far beyond the speed limits though but that's all i know.

Thanks for the info Chris :) Now I'm even more sure that I need to go with 3.9 as I don't have turbo and want some acceleration too =)

So, how is Turbo setup?
What turbo did you end up using?

and that was with 3.52 setup, right? That speed would be awesome fast in a Mini!
