ok, its just the engine, but after geting up oil pressure, and bleeding the fuel system it started on the first turn, then instantly settled down to 1krpm :) lovely!

I'l post the diagram soon as i get the time to draw it out, its very very simple tho, and keeps the 5as happy!

Next job is to sort out the clutch and finalise my gear mechanism, as you may be able to see in teh pic i have mounted the bell-crank to the engine block itself! and modified all the all joint pivots to suit, aswel as altering there ratios for a "short shift" and modifying the big lever wit hthe weight extensively, so hopefully it wont foul the bulkhead :)[/img]

They normally fall over first, which usually results in some major component being damaged, or they rattle across the floor. The real problem occurs if said engine has any form of moving part (ie pulley) that protrudes past the extremities of the engine. Which can have some interesting results, if said pulley should come into contact with any solid object (ie floor)

Go on.
You know you want to.

Nothing beats the adrenalin rush of chasing an engine running full throttle across the floor, or watching it rattle across the floor towards a valuable object, while you're trying to figure out how the **** you're going to stop it.

Yeah, that'll change my mind

Still mildly tempted though! I'll chain it to the engine crane, and do it whilst it's suspended in the air  That should be safe enough
