on this immobiliser there are two conecters the large one on the right what is the small on the left used for :(

What imobiliser ? check ur haynes diagrams, as the small connector should be detailed.

If not i imagine the metro only makes use of 3 of the pinouts, 1 for inertia switch (usually green, pin9) and the other too (green with tracers 6&7) for the indicators.. assuming 5as :)

pinouts are numbered lookin ginto the female conector left to right, top to bottom with the release button bit at the top, HTH.

should also add, in every diagram iv read so far including haynes, the small connector is numbered "57" and the big one "61".

it is a 3AS immobiliser i have mabey i am tring to discribe the wrong thing i have uploaded a photo of this???

aah, u planing on useing that imobiliser in ur mini, or u wantin to bypass it?

the 3as should be a doddle to get round..

Yes it is, just leave it out. ECU works fine without it!

i was just wondering what the other plug was for i want to keep the
immobiliser so can use the remote central locking :)

for the remote central locking (wel i have used it for electric door pops as i have no handles, but same thing) check out the maplins kit, is cheap, cheerfull, universal and easy to fit :)

If uv stil got the donor car jsut trace the wires, either way that smal plug shoudl be detailed in haynes if its anythign to do with the central locking :)
