Just getting round to filling the application form out for the RAC so wont be competing im afraid (extra £42 just for express handling :shock: ), just sorting out a few issues with the car so will have it checked over at wigan anyway have some banter with the 16v mini boys anyway!! :lol:

Hello everyone, this is my 1st post but i've been a watchin for a while...

Haven't got a mini yet but i'll be getting one in the summer for a vtec conversion. Wanted one for years and now that i have a garage and a bit of spare cash (spare cash with a wife and 2 kids???)

Anyway, i'm gonna be coming to 3 sisters on the 20th April to see some action as i live fairly local. What time will it all be kicking off?

How did you get on Allan?
I saw your first run of the afternoon and it looked quick.
We had a walk back round the paddock later on in the day but couldn't see you around. I would have hung around a bit later but it was freezing sat on the banking . :oops:

It went well :lol:
fastest mini on the day
fastest in class there were two of us :( but the car I was up against was a race car (a vision) with 280bhp he had just spent £7000 last week on the engine :shock: I beat him by 1/2 a sec.
my times were 56.92 - 59.18 in practice the second run was wet
the race runs were 54.29 - 53.46
I dont think a Honda mini could get near these times :lol:

He wasnt very happy he should have been quicker his spanner man reckons he has had a few lap records in the past and should have beat me easy.
Its the same motor as mine but very trick and runinng methanol with a couple more laps I reckon he would thrash me.

Not sure Daisy. Mrs Hoose would have an Ertha Kit after the last crash, but I'll think about it long and hard, I promise. I've got a very radical plan for my XE over the next 12 months anyhow so I can insult Allan if i like, he'd never catch me once it's complete. I'll hopefully pop along to 1 or 2 of the meets this year and have a nosey. Never raced four wheels BTW.

2, and thats only because you've been doing mickey mouse events when there has been no-one else there to get some sneaky practise in. when we get to scarborough we all have our cars to set up, but wont take long to get on your pace. My mate Paul is doing it this year in a chinkychento and he's even going to give you a run for your money!!!

Just to keep things fair I am happy if you remove my points for the first two rounds.
I only did the first two rounds because I wanted to have a go at some where different.
Remember I have a Vauxhall mini so points shouldnt be a problem :lol: :lol:

It wasnt raining very hard on that run thats just the fastest I could go on the day.There are only 2 practice laps and 2 timed runs not much time to find the edge :(
The main place I think I lost time was the last 200 yards on the run to the line , but next time I will be quicker.
