Entire Car, Abandoned Project or Good Donor

G'day folks.

I've read the FAQ's and just about every other thread on this site and am now looking for a converted mini.

Realistically my mechanical skills are bugger all so a complete or near finished car would be preferable. I can do 'take-that-off-and-bolt-this-one-on' but anything else I'm likely to break, spoil or lose.

That said I'd be prepared to start from scratch and to get a good'un. I know it would cost more but I've had kit cars and am sick of bodged up engines, electrics and the like.

It will be my only car so stripped out racers are out.

I saw that and Jim and I have swopped a few emails. I'm hoping to see him and the car next week. Need to know why it won't start and all that though.

In the meantime I thought there'd be no harm in looking around and casting about for ideas and suggestions.

Much to the disgust of the regulars on here ( :wink: ) I've asked the 'Vauxhall or Hondá?' question and have concluded that.........I can't make my mind up.

i have an 1.6 b16a mini, its rally prepped, been in store for a copuple of years, bodys ok, has loads of fancy bits but the interior is basic, so as to quell any doubt i had advertised this at 4000 what i paid for it but its now reduced to 3000, a big loss, could be ideal for you as a bit of a tidy would make this a good motor, beware this is full rally tuned and is very competitive.
it has been mot'd but has expired.
