214 / metro engine mounts!?

Does anyone know if the 214 engine mounts, the left hand vertically offset 2 bolt one, are different from the metro mount?

I got a mpi low port from a 214, and a metro k frame with mounts, but me and my dad have just spent a couple of hours trying to get the engine to fit, and when we finally got it in the gearbox end seemed to be too high :( . If the mounts are different the metro one is still on the gearbox at the scrappy, so I can get it if needed. :D

Has anyone had this trouble before?

as you look at the engine from the front. the only mount which is the same is the one connected to the cam side (left look in from front). you will need the metro (right side) mount, and rear gearbox mount of the metro too.

thats saying your fitting the standard 1.4 engine&gearbox and not the bigger engine size&PG1 gearbox.
