Hello,

Ive been contemplating on installing a turbo in my mini, and my initial idea was to buy a 1380 turbo engine kit from MED but to have a garrett T3/T4 Hybrid turbo as i want about 25psi. I emailed MED but they didnt respond.

Whats your opinion on this? At the end of the day i am looking for a 0-60 time of around 4 seconds, however i understand mega bucks may have to be spent?

I initially bought a Garrett T3 however i dont think its gonna satisfy me.

I know making hp is the easy job its the traction which is the problem. DO you know the different methods of getting traction. I remember watching those super fast 1/4 mile cars that can do it in 6 seconds and they seem to have maga traction.

They do it by having either jet engines, or 6000 hp, rear wheel drive and massive hoosier's :) !!
Doubt there's any road legal car running under 9 second 1/4's ! As for fromt wheel drive the fastest front wheel drive 1/4 mile is around 8 or 9 seconds I think - that car had over 800hp, and the same sort of hooseier's but on the front and a proper "drag" style carbon lift-off body - a million miles from being road legal !!!

dude a t25 on a punto is very laggy and that can run 26psi boost all day lon, running a t3/4 is rediculous for a 1.4. you wont get quick 0-60 times with a very laggy turbo..

the T4 on my 2ltr dont give full boost till 3500 so imagine a 1.4
