the sound of swift

Hey guys

Looking at getting my hands a swift gti (why, for the mini of course :D ); after a second opinion on the engine.

Supposedly it's done about 74k, got a wee vid of it running. What do u guys make of it (copy the link with space ie /car 005.avi)

Sounds smooth enough, but you can hear the hydraulic lifters, so either needs some decent new oil, or could do with cleaning the lifters. :?
(at least thats what i think it is). :lol:

aah gee... u sure it's not 74 thou? damn could have sworn it was euro talk... :D

Ta ed... gonna pick it up in a couple of weeks. Wish I could say it's going straight in the mini, but got a full on resto to do before i start thinking about dropping the engine in. Hey if ur gonna do something might as do it properly!
