Hi,

I'm after an engine oil cooler p/n 15500-pr3-013 for a B16A1.
Also after the engine mount on the engine side.

Cheers,

Chad

Sorry I dont have one :( but I do have a question. Is the car for road use? if so it is generally believed that an oil cooler is of little use to the engine and can actually damage the engine as the oil is not running at the right temp. However, if the engines sole use is for thrashing, then it will be benificial. Having one you can install for track days may be a thought :) Scott

Hi Scott,

The car will be for road use, but its the oil cooler that mounts on the block that the oil filter then screws on to. I don't know for sure, but I doubt that the oil filter will be able to mount directly on the block. it would be great if it could though, because then I won't have to worry about getting one!

Cheers,

Chad

Damn, I did have what you are looking for on my B16, however, it was given to a friend as a spare bottom end for his CRX :( The B20 does not use this cooler, but my goldeneagle Vtec conversion uses one which also feeds the head with oil via a hose taken from the cooler to the hole where there used to live a brass screw in the b16 head. I know that most B20 Vtecs dont use such a cooler and are simply fed from a T peice which is between block and a remotish filter. You could possibly do this, but then oil would probably run too hot :? tough one. I thought you meant a cooler like the old mini 13row coolers etc  . Scott

 Far too kind. I've PMd you with the bits I need, but let me pay something towards them.

Big thanks.

Yeehah, I just discoverd my engine is an A2 - stupid imports with their different labelling system.

The cool thing is that the A2 doesn't need an oil cooler (I think), but I am now after a clutch slave cylinder, and am still looking for that engine mount.

Cheers,

Chad
