Hi there, Im looking at doing a suzuki G13b transplant.... but here's the problem. I stay all the way in South Africa, and the swift GTI was only sold in Europe and some Asian countries.

Does anyone know where I would be able to source this engine at a reasonable price, and ofcourse I then need it to be shipped all the way to South Africa.

I really would apreciate the help.

First i would try www.teamswift.net this forum has members from all over the world. You may be lucky and find someone nearer to you with an engine.

Also i found this on wikipedia.

The Swift was sold in different markets as Pontiac Firefly (Canada), Chevrolet Sprint (USA/Canada), Geo Metro (USA/Canada) and Maruti Esteem (Suzuki Swift Sedan) \ Maruti Swift MK4 (India). In Japan, the JDM version of the Swift is known as the Suzuki Cultus. In South America, it is sold as the Chevrolet Swift (except in Chile, where it was sold as the Suzuki Swift and Chevrolet Sprint).

Hope this info helps you

Hi,

Like Swift mini says, you can try teamswift.
Or may be find out if any SA company does shipment to UK and back or not.

I'm sure 16v Mini shop will help you to source what you need.
If you have to pay delivery charge, may as well use matt.
He has a lot of contact for anything to do with 16V engine transplant to Mini.

Cheers
