Has anyone attempted or is anyone doing a conversion using the Suzuki Swift Sport drivetrain?
The stock 1600cc engine is rated at 125bhp at 6800rpm, with 109lb-ft of torque peaking at 4800rpm. It seems like there ought to be a great deal of room for tuning this engine to a higher output. Does anyone offer conversions to raise this to the 175bhp level? (A supercharger kit, for example.)
If this has been discussed before, please excuse my ignorance and just send me to the proper pages.
Thanks

Are you referring to the newer Swift Sport?
I haven't seen the 1600cc motor in the new vehicles, but I would imagine its and M-series. As far as I can tell, this is their newer motor platform. We had an M20(2 liter) in the shop a month or so ago and it's not much larger than the G13B. A bit taller, and a bit wider, but nothing that I think would be impossible to squeeze in, if some accommodations were made.
I can't speak too much on the tuning potential yet, but the G16s have a reputation for not being quite as tunable as the G13. Still, you are starting off w/ more displacement, which(if you can fit it) is usually a good thing.

Yes, I was referring to the newer M16.
Is there a website that gives information on the M20 engine?
What car does it come in?

I found the following information at Suzuki--
Suzuki Aerio Sedan )Saloon) Standard equipment:
•2.3-liter, 16-valve DOHC 4-cylinder engine
•Horsepower: 155 hp @ 5,400 RPM
•Torque: 152 lbs-ft @ 3,000 RPM
•5-speed manual transmission
I wonder how big it is...??

The Aerio is much larger than the original Swift, but they're still compartively small. If I had to guess... 2500lbs?
The M20 is in the SX4. It's sort of a very mini SUV or an extra large hatchback.
...Actually... thinking about it a bit more, that may be been a J series and could possibly have been 2.3L, so there's a decent possibility that's what's in the Aerio too. I wonder what the difference is between an M and a J.

Whatever we had was narrow-angle, chain-driven DOHC. 2.3L seems a bit of a stretch unless it just has a really long stroke, as it was about 2cm longer from front to back than the G13 and the block didn't seem significantly wider. I can't speak for height really, but it didn't look unusually tall.

2cm doesn't seem like much of a stretch... maybe it would fit in a standard, round-nose Mini just as the G13 does.
May be worthy of further study...
