Hi all,

I was talking to DarrenW at the L2B about our minis, and he mentioned something abouy sticky throttle cables, I've never really thought about it before, thinking mini's are generally jerky anyway, but to apply light throttle at low engine speeds is very jerky for me.

Anyone encountered this niggle, and if so what was the plan of action?

Thanks! :)

Joe

I used the standard civic cable, routed under the servo and at the back of the the valve cover.
Works a treat, but it am using a modified metro gti throttle pedal and the leverage ratios are different. The mini pedal gave bad throttle action.

I used the Civic cable but found it to be too long and a little sticky so shortened it by cutting the outer part off by about 6 inches and then it worked fine- much happier with it now. Oh and I am using the modded mini pedal.
