I'm working on putting a Vaux lump in the back of my Mini so I guess it's worth a look to see if I can get any tips from it. How good is the article?

If it's in fast car it'll go along the lines of "Chech Ooot this Puuuure minted Mota, It's pureeee mad, mental crazy fappin mad ....." ETC  the only good mags to buy ATM Are Mini mag/world, retro cars etc, even Banzai is becomming mainstream(produced for the Neds,Barryboys,Kev's etc  )

It wasn't worth spending £4.25!! even if it did come with a free cd case. There is a lot of norks out in it though!!

The article doesn't say much about how the conversion was done. It looks like a good install but its bright green

My thoughts were it would be a Zcars frame modified to house the Bseries :? maby worth looking at the Zcars frame for ideas matt :)

After seeing the bike engined mini run at York, I doubt I'd like it, spins out too easily, but the bonus was that it got off the line a lot quicker, putting the engine up front but driving from the back seems to work, the alfa turbo mini looked good to drive

The thing I don't like about the Z cars frame is the rear trailing arms. They maybe good for grass track racing as it is benefical for the backend to be lively as it will get you into the corner better where you can just boot the throttle and do your steering that way, but for road and tarmac track use a tail happy car is not always desirable especially when its the length of a mini. If you compare it to an early 911 which uses the same setup it took them a good while to get them to handle properly, you really want to run a fully independant setup on the backend. Just my 2p worth

Mine's going to be very similar to Mini front suspension. It's not perfect but its a good compromise between simplicity/price and design perfection. The best thing for me about using Mini front suspension is that its dead cheap and easy to alter rear camber, toe and bump steer by adjusting the bottom arm, track rod length and track rod pickup point respectively. I'm no expert on this though, so I'm more than happy for you guys to correct and refine my ideas.

I believe I got my pics off a website. As I'm at work I'll check tomorrow at home and post it if I can find it. There were a bunch of pictures that may interest someone. JS

Actually just seen the article, WHY???????

Do the americans/ lefty's have to put it in the back because the break and clutch M/s would be in the road???? :?

In a perverse way, I liked how the guy utalised a integra dash

Hi ppl,

I'm sure you guys know about a kit car called GTM Coupe.
This kit car used 2 front subframes of mini.
I got information have to make your rear drum brake to fit your hub and to convert to MOT friendly hand brake.
I request it from current owner of roght to make Coupe.
I think it is know as Primco or something.
By using the way it did, I think you can enjoy RR drive  .
Then again, I think it will be very, very peaky.
