Honda Gearboxes

Anyone got a list of which gearboxes come with which car/model.

Need to know when ones have cable and which have hydraulic clutch.

I don't know exact part numbers here, but all the CRX/b16a/a1 boxes are cable, all the EG/EK civic/b16a2 are hydro, basically all units after 02 went hydro, but then again, there are probably boxes after which are cable aswell :roll:

Have you come to your senses and are now going vtec :shock:
I nicked this off the net somewhere, but it might be helpfull.

In looking at Honda transmission codes, the cable versions had codes Y1, J1, S1, and YSI. The hydraulic versions had codes S80, Y80, Y21, S21 and S4C.
