Anyone know which ECU this would have, and what a reasonable price would be ?
Cheers,

Think he's selling engine/gearbox ecu etc as 1.
It will be OBDIIb i think so you need the transponder that goes with it.

By te sounds of it the OBDII ECU could be more hassle than its worth ! Just started another thread as I'm thinking of Hondata now, or Megasquirt !! Matt will be pleased !!! :D

I know of a lad with a 1.8 VTEC engine, bored slightly, ITR head, DTA ecu and box with Quafie or Cusco LSD.
He was after £2500 for that one, was putting out 230bhp with room for improvement as well!
He's still around, no one has yet taken him up onit. No idea why, but I suppose £2500 isnt pocket change. Definately worth it over an ITR swap imho.

I only paid £1500 +vat (£1762) for mine, removed and delivered inc drive shafts, radiator and what was left of the burn wires on the loom.
You don’t need the ECU or distributor if you’re using a DTA system, only a Ford coil pack.
Just received an email from him:
>>Hi Colin
I have now sold the gearbox.
I was looking to sell the complete engine with ancillaries, with loom and ecu for £1850 ono.
Is it the bare engine that you are after? I have the drive shafts.etc - feel free to make me an offer!
The only thing wrong with mine is that the mount has broken off the engine, I will get it repaired, otherwise it has only covered 26k miles!
Front seats have now sold.<<
Any takers?

Paul,
You can buy cam covers like Pauls & mine on Ebay, expect to pay around £90 + - Mine came from the States via Ireland
I sold my slightly burnt factory cam cover for £30 recently.
Look here for cam covers mail order from the states:
