I'm using the mini rad with a citroen AX motor/fan. I'm not sure how well it works yet as I haven't run the engine long enough to test it.

Thanks Surfy, I'm going to try a 3core Mini Rad and a 10" pusher fan. I toyed with the idea of putting the rad up front instead of the traditional Mini location but that would block such a nice open area above the tranny which could be used for a turbo!Mmmmmmmmm

We have thought the same thing. Need to get it on the road and see how it goes first tho :D

While we're on the subject, where did you get that perfect looking S shaped hose to the water pump?

Thats the standard hose that is normally off the other side, which runs over the gearbox and down to the bottom of the standard rad.
Hi,
I used a standard 3 core mini radiator with a 10 inch thermo fan off a Honda. The bottom hose is swift and the top is made up. I have never had problems with overheating.

I'm running a mini spares 2 core super cool radiator and kenlowe fan in the standard mini posistion.
I can report that it is working fine at the moment.
The fan cuts in after about 5mins and then switches off again after about 2-3 mins.
The standard mini gauge nearly goes through the roof though so i may need a different sender unit.

Well I bought a new 3 core mini rad and a 10inch fan ( which fits the standard mini shroud perfectly. Now have to wait till I get it running!
Thanks for the feedback guys.
