Hi,

We have the Chilton Repair Manual (#28700) for the American Chevy Sprint & Metro & Suzuki Swift (1985-2000). We bought it via Haynes but it’s not one of theirs and it’s not to their standard, I have to say. Technically it’s bit of a let-down but it’s better than nothing and does have some wiring diagrams for the GTi.

If anyone wants a Mk1 wiring diagram I have made a scan of the one that appeared in the excellent Owners Handbook that was issued with new Mk1s here in New Zealand. It’s a full point-to-point single sheet wiring diagram for Australian and NZ versions. The scan is in pdf and formatted for A3 paper; resolution is good. Sorry, but I don’t have access to a website for you to access this item directly so you’ll have to give me an email address if you want a copy.

Cheers

Ian
