Hi,
I want to put my 1.4 16v mpi into a roundnose mini THAT HASNT BEEN LENGTHENED !. First of all, is this possible ? and if so whats the best way to do it !?

Yes it is possible, but as stated in the FAQ, you will need to fabricate your own frame to do it.

Did you make that frame ? out of the metro or mini subfame ? is that the 1.4 16v gti Mpi ?
Got my engine but some little f**ker thieved the head when it was just sitting at the garrage where i work !! Bastids !! :evil:
Anyway, sourced another head from another 16v Mpi from a local scrappy, Phew ! :D getting it wednesday, let the project begin !!

My dad, gtmkoupe, made the frame, it has original mini towers then a load of box section for the rest. There should be a lot of pics available soon, as the engine is out at the moment. A bit of rope got caught in the cam belt, thus it slipped 4 teeth ( 60 degrees ish) and has not done the valves and pistons any good.
I am now looking round for a new engine. Going to get a newer one from a 214 (bubble shape) rather then metro GTI as they are a slightly better engine, can upgrade it to 1.8 at a later stage any way!
Yes it is a 1.4MPI 16V.
