hi there people..
I am monitoring this site for quite a wile now...en like it very much.
there is so much to learn here.
i'm working on a van and a saloon rondnose,there is a problem with the
built... the mini's here are all lhd... so where do i let the diff???
or what steeringrack can i use???
any help would be very welkom....

Hi,
Welcome to Suzuki section of the site!
If you are worried about LHD then you don't need to.
Try this link.

He has even turboed G13B engine, so you can do it with LHD cars.

What bit I welded, are you talking about?
My Mini is still in progress after 5 years...... :oops: .
I will be dealing with body work for now so that I can transport it to N. East.
It will be worrying 300mile travel this will be... :lol: .

Hi speedy, I am almost finished my roundnose with LHD (i'm in the USA)
and I'm using the standard Mini rack. The clearance between the tranny and the raised portion of the rack is about 1/2 inch.It can be done!

i thought that in your country you had a lot of space...but not that much :D

Hi Speedy,
No, I'm moving house to 300miles away.
I got new job and taking my project Mini with me.
It was meant to be 2 year project but I had 2 girls and 1 house move and 3 months training in Japan with job.....
Well that's my excuse anyway....

my subframe is ready... :lol:
the next step is to fit it to the body
the engine is very stabil in the frame.
i hope it fits like a glove... :?
next issue is the driveshafts....
am i going to weld them or have them made????
any idea's enyone???

Hi Speedy,
I've done both for my project.
I cut and weld driveshaft then I thought I get one pair made for good measure(wish I didn't, it is crap).
If you go to my gallery, you will see how I have done it.
