electric window mod

hi all i just finished modifing one of my standard mini widow regulators,works very well and only took about an hour to mod, all it took was a motor and the top cut off a 21 mm plug socket,a bit bulky for standard door cards, but behinde my new ones i have more room.

any more info on motors etc? bit to heavy for me, but would be usefull for others :lol:

hi evo not shure what car the motor came out,but it used to be cable operated,this is just my first try,hope to get a smaller motor,i will take the regulator back out of my car and strip it down and try and give a more detailed description of the mod today,it fitted behind the rover 45 door cards i am now using.

as promised i have striped things down and posted more photos and a
discription to try and explain more how it was done,i still dont know what
car the motor was off,except that it was one with a square drive shaft to
turn the plastic cable drum,i hope this is of some help to any one,for anymore details just ask.

Do you have a bigger picture on how you modded the window? I have a universal power window motor and I can't modify mine.
