I´m living in sweden and mini´s are quite unusual here on the roads !
So i got the idea of building the first swedish VTEC mini !

That i would like to know from you is !

What (body) is the best object to build on ?
I´w got the a B16A2 engine that have run 3000miles !

My biggest problem is the Subframe, i have access to a big workshop with
all kind of welding equipment !
I need to find drawings with dimensions and proportions !

Maby someone can help me with my problem !!

Thanx / Jens !

Do you mean body - clubman is the easiest.

If you mean subframe - then all depends if you want it to fit in the round nose or not.

Hi !

I have acces to three different cars -73 (1000cc), -79 (1000cc) and an -93 (1275cc)
So no clubman !

All cars are complete but i dont know what´s the best ground object to build on ?
the axhaus demands are easier on the -73 ore -79 so i think is will be one of them !

If you are buying a subframe then you will require a shell with single bolt top subframe mount. I think the 73 had a two bolt subframe so the 79 might be a better starting place. Make sure whichever you pick it has no rust in it or remove it all before you start cutting.
Good luck with the project and keep us informed :!:

Thanx Mark !

I promise i will informe, probably will i build a homepage about the project!

Back to the subframe !
Instead of buying the subframe we are going to manufacture our own.
So i need so much information as possible about the subframes that are on the market !

The Mini 79 is complete rust free so that´s no problem.
