For those of you that have a standard nose Mini with a Honda engine I would be interested if the engine is tilted back a bit for fitment purposes? In other words rotated about the centre of the axles.
In keeping the centre of the drive shaft in the same location as the Mini This is what I must do. Remember that I am using all Honda front end so there may be some difference. This way it gives me about 1/2 inch clearance on the curve of the hood to the grill on the left front side.
I spent the day putting the engine back into the Integra halfshell to make sure I have all the dimensioning correct. Sometimes you go off key and have to revert backwards a bit to go on. The in/out takes hardly any time. It's measure this and that two or three times to convince yourself that you finally have it right. Plus I have no helper so it takes even longer.
Now it's onwards to finishing the side frames. JS
