Iv started another VTEC build, the shell is really solid so im going to try and maintain the standard throughout this build. its got an allspeed frame and iv got a choice of 3 engines to put in (JDM B16A, B18C4, B20B3), i have just had the opportunity of getting a CRV for very cheap so i had to do it, so i will be building a frankenstein very soon. il probably just use the C4 for now. the 4wd setup[ out of the CRV will be going into my uncles supercharged mini but the engine is mine. anyway heres some pictures.

bottom dash rail fitted with column mounted. i have also mounted my pedal box but i have not got the master cylinders yet so that may not be the final position. i have made some mounts on the lathe so i could mount the honda stalks onto the column, i have also fitted the honda ignition barrell and steering lock which works a treat.
anyway let me know what you think, i will update as i go along

Where did you get that cage?
Are the set of holes on the horizontal bar across the door to change the length to suit a van if required?

Looks like a safety devices cage to me?

no, they are just sleeves that slide over for ease of fitment, i still need to drill through and bolt them. it is safety devices multi point from minisport. iv had to wait AGES for it!

Looks like its gonna be a good project :)

Im looking at getting one of those cages, my main concern is the dash rail bar that comes with it... i can see it sits higher than the mini dash rail, but is it fixed in this position? Only asking because i still have a normal dash with a stereo in, and want access to the head unit lol.

il take a better picture so you can see where the bar is, it is removable and i dont imagine it would get in the way of the buttons on your stereo.

Thanks for do that :)
Its a little hard to tell since you have moved your lower dash rail.

Need a cage anyway and its the only one i like, and i guess i can always just move the rail on the cage

the bottom rail is in the standard position, the only difference is it is a larger diameter
