FUEL PUMP

Whats a good fuel pump to use for the vtec conversion.I have a 1977 clubby and there isn't a pump in the gas tank.

I ave mountet a Opel (Vauxhall) Calibra Fuel Pump (BOSCH)
this works verry Fine and have a maximum Fuelpressure about 5-6 bar
you need only the bracket and the Pump and the Filter (not the Pressur-Regulator)
the original Pressure Regulator from Honda-Engines is on the Inlet-Manifold. (mountet at the rear Frame) I can send you a Picture if you wont.
with this Pump you can use a Tuning pressur Regulater like Apexi orntother Types and you have a better acceleration.

Thisis a easy conversion...... TAKE THIS an you dont have any Problems.

Im going last Year with my Mini to Italy,s IMM and many Kilometers
here in Germany (10.000) without any Problems.

vitec mini...do you have any more photos of your project and the frame? ALways curious to see what other people have done to get the VTEC installed. Did you have to extend your front end?

NO i have not extend my front end. (I have mounted my steel Flip-Front now about 10 Years)
the look of my Mini is not with a long Nose, i didnt like it with longer Nose.
my front-frame is 40% from the original and the Rest is my own modifikation.

hi Jerry,

Yes, this is my Car and my Conversion.
This was one of my best things that i have done on my Mini.

At the Moment i am built two Mokes with the same Honda-Engines and
a little different modifikationes at the subframe,s as on my Mini,s subframe.
It looks great and in the Moke-Enginebay is a little more Space
for the hold things i need.
the Mokes are with rh Steering and the Body are completely new built by my self and the wide is 8 cm bigger for the bigger wheels.
The Flip-Front on the Mokes helps verry well to work and weld on it.
